Standard Warranty Coverage – What’s Included and How to File a Claim

Every pair of Rheos sunglasses includes a 1-year limited warranty to protect you from manufacturing defects. Here's how it works:


✅ What’s Covered

1-Year Frame Warranty

  • Covers manufacturer defects (e.g., hinge separation, structural cracks)

  • Does not cover accidental damage or normal wear and tear

  • Valid for one claim per pair within the first year

  • Requires photo evidence

1-Year Lens Warranty – The Saltwater Promise

  • Covers manufacturer defects in our durable HydroClear lenses (any bubbling or peeling)

  • Lenses are rated for 120 hours of saltwater and humidity exposure

  • Not covered: scratches are considered wear and tear unless there is a coating issue or premature failure; warping or dashboard heat damage


💸 Fees & Shipping

  • First 30 Days: If there's a problem, we'll replace the frame or lenses for free

  • After 30 Days: A $20 flat shipping + fulfillment fee applies (U.S. only; international may vary)


🧽 Lens Care Tips

  • Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure

  • Avoid wiping lenses with anti-odor/silver-thread shirts

  • Don’t leave your shades on your dashboard or boat console

  3. Submit your photo + order number

  4. We’ll get back to you within 2 business days
